This hotel is definitely the best in San Pedro. Great rooms, heating, hot showers, good breakfast and meals and very friendly and supporting service. Is only a 10-min walk to the centre and a nice walk and perfect distance away from the crowds. Oscar the manager is amazing and is great for recommendations and tips on trips and was very helpful during my stay. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in San Pedro. Highly recommend hiring a car (4x4) which you can do in San Pedro rather than using the travel agencies for visiting the key sites. Brian
I would not recommend this place as it is not good value for your money. The service was not good starting with the fact that the place is not accessible if you have any disabilities. No one offered to help us with our luggage and at night the outside premises are pitch black with no proper lighting. I fell on the gravel at night because of this. Furthermore, anything you do in the “hotel” needs to be paid: for example, I paid 30,000 for 1 hour hot tub (I think this should have been explained and not falsely advertised in the hotel page). The mattresses are old and sink and I missed having face and floor towels. Lastly, breakfast was terrible: some fruits, 3 slices of cheese and ham, and OLD hard bread that was heated perhaps because it was low season (but honestly this should not happen ever!). We had to schedule breakfast and it was served 20 minutes later. Not sure why we had to schedule in advance if it was going to take this long. The hotel has a vibe that I personally did not like: 1. They kept “pushing” extra services like meals (maybe the employees have metrics to sell?) and 2. They turn on incense sticks the whole time in the reception and could be smelled from the room, which was an absolute nightmare for me. Overall a very peculiar vibe and would not recommend. Only positive thing was the location and river view.
Room was dirty, old and dodgy. There was a bush growing through the roof which was covered in bugs. Light fell off the roof, windows were falling apart and there was no blind on the window so it was very bright in the morning. Very bad experience do not recommend.
