Hotel am Mühlenteich

Nice little hotel with excellent location to the cities pedestrian area. Couldn't grab someone in the restaurant the first evening so it was just a 2 minutes+ walk to find one restaurant after the other. Room was comfortable, just too warm. I realized only the next morning the AC works REALLY well. Telephone didn't work. Breakfast was good, nice little buffet with quite a choice. Parking right at the doorstep. Most importantly the internet worked well, quite fast and was easy to connect. Nice were also the Babor amenities in the bathroom.

Nice place to start a journey in the surrounding area. Hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but no coffee-machine available. Restaurant is romantically decorated, but needs some training for the staff as it could be more efficient. Food itself was simple but good

The hotel was relatively nice with helpful staff. The food was delicious although variety may be welcome. And also the additional of lighter meals like sandwiches and gourmet burgers. The rooms were comfortable if not compact. Bed was comfortable, shower with good pressure and hot water. Should consider placing an electric kettle for guests who would like to make a quick coffee or tea. One small minus though - first hotel for me to stay that did not provide complimentary bottles of water but had to instead buy it from the room mini-bar.
