We had a wedding to attend in Glendale and booked this hotel for few nights. Amazing place to stay. It is more like a cozy boutique hotel. Service is excellent. All the employees are super helpful and very friendly and professional. Rooms are very clean and offer and includes continental breakfast and good brand coffee. They gym, pool and spa are just perfect for your stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a birthday trip to Universal Studios. We appreciated how close the hotel was to the park. The staff was friendly and attentive. We are a family of 6 and we stayed in the Superior One Bedroom Suite, with the use of a rollaway bed. The room was fairly spacious and clean. The mattress in the bedroom and on the sofa were a bit uncomfortable and felt aged, but they did the job. The pool was nice for this July weather. Our only issue was that there is no parking. Valet is $40/day. I suppose one could park in the shopping center across the street, but we did not want to risk being towed. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend.
While we have enjoyed our stays at Hotel Amarano, we can no longer book there. We have stayed numerous times prior to Covid and the change in ownership. We stayed in Feb. 2025 and had a problem with them over billing on the package we booked. We booked the "Stay Longer and Save" package that included parking and the resort fee ($70./day). Upon check out we were charged for parking. It took 2 phone calls to straighten out. When we checked in for our June stay I had booked the same package and clarified at check in that we would not be charged for either. When we checked out, both were charged to us. A approx.$1300 stay became a $1700 stay. After about 15 minutes they corrected this and we checked out. About 2 weeks later when checking my credit card statement I saw we were charged 3 times after we checked out for a total of $534. I called and was told I would get a call back within the hour. After 3 hours I called back and after some discussion was able to get $334. refunded and was told I would have to call my credit card company to have a $200. charge removed. I asked to have the General Manager call me back and I have not heard back after 2 weeks. The credit card took care of the final $200. charge. Amazing - No call or email that they were charging my card, no call back from the Mgr. We were going to book a 10 day stay in Sept, but now are going elsewhere. we stay in Burbank 4-5 times a year, staying 5-10 days each time. Their loss
