We had a wonderful stay there for a couple of days. Great location, in a quite quiet street and just of couple of minutes walking to the centre area, where is plenty of shops and restaurants. Helpful staff, especially Jakub, the recepcionist from the night shift which was very friendly and helpful with us. Our room with the terrace was incredible and we're appreciates it the welcome snack that they leaved us. Breakfast buffet is a absolutely must !! Plenty of different options and tasty. If we come to Prague, definitely were going to the Amarilis Hotel again. Kind regards, David Rosa.

We stayed there for our Easter holidays and in short: it was a very pleasent stay. Yes, the rooms could do with an update, but they are roomy and clean, so nothing to complain about. Breakfast was good as well. Plenty of choice for the three days we stayed. The last day we even received a breakfast 'bag' because we had to take the plane back on an early hour. It was well stocked with fruit, sandwiches, etc. The staff was excellent. Very helpfull with getting us a cab for the early trip to the airport (and not expensive at all). Spoke English very well and were always polite. A real asset for the hotel. Location wise: just walk to end of the street and you are at the start of the shopping area. We did 95% of our city exploring on foot which is the ideal way of getting to know Prague. All in all a super hotel!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience thanks to its excellent location and comfortable rooms. We booked two rooms—a terrace room and a triple room—which met our basic needs. However, there were a couple of issues that I believe future guests should be aware of. Firstly, despite having pre-paid for our stay, we were required to pay the city tax when we arrived at around 11:30 PM. In my opinion, it would have been more reasonable to defer this payment to the next day, given that the payment had already been arranged in advance. Secondly, the breakfast service was inconsistent. The scrambled eggs were routinely served with onions. Due to dietary sensitivities, we requested eggs without onions. On one occasion, our request was accommodated, but on another day the staff explained that it was not possible because the kitchen had already closed. This was particularly disappointing as the hotel advertises a breakfast option—including eggs with extras for 8 euros—right in the elevator. Overall, while the hotel’s location and the comfort of the rooms were commendable, addressing the issues with late-night tax collection and the breakfast service would greatly improve the overall guest experience
