This place was fantastic! Four star Hotel with competitive pricing and a five star breakfast! It is just a five minute walk from the train station and a similarly short walk to the old city center, a location that makes it quieter for sleeping but close to all the action. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. The proprietors were gracious, genuine, and kind. Although Brig isn’t right up in the snowy mountains, the town is surrounded by them, and as a family it was much more affordable to stay down in Brig and then take the train up to Zermatt and beyond.
We were here as part of our package with Great Railway Holidays for 4 nights. Out of those 4 nights, we had dinner, 3 of them, and the food was excellent, and also the service. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and hot. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel ad a base for a Bucket List holiday incorporating the Bernina Express and Glacier Express
Small bed and shower room but comfortable. I have to add it was a double room but felt more like a single. The cuisine was excellent. The location is perfect for a stroll around the town and countryside
