Hotel Ambassador

Beautiful hotel! This hotel is well looked after being in such an old building! It’s stunning in every part of it. We stay here for 3 night visiting from London and it was in the middle of everywhere! Maximum walk was 19 mins to the furthest museum! Surrounded by a town where you can buy souvenirs & plenty of restaurants! Uber is available to take you to and from this hotel or you can take your buses and boat cruises only 10 min walk away! This hotel was perfect for our short break! Such an elegant building with very attentive staff!

Great value for money! Rooms are very large and very comfortable. The location is excellent, right on top of the main shopping street, 2 blocks away from the metro. The windows completely isolate street noise. The staff was very nice, although our request for late checkout, even for a fee, was denied, even tough the hotel was not full.

I have never seen a worse hotel in my life! For a place this expensive, the service is absolutely terrible. First of all, there were very few staff at the reception, and their English was quite poor. Our check-in process took a full 1.5 hours. Before making the reservation, I asked how much extra we would need to pay for our two children, aged 5 and 7. I will share the photos as well. Although they told us it would be €25 per child, the hotel later tried to charge us an additional €300. After speaking with the manager, Frau Laura, they somehow reduced it to €150. However, the original information they gave us before arrival was that it would be €75 in total. On top of all this, the hotel was extremely dirty. The level of service was far below what you would expect from such an expensive place. The bathtub had black stains all over it. In conclusion, there are much better hotels nearby—choose one of them instead and don’t waste your money here.
