Hotel Amerikan

Amazing little Hotel. Super friendly staff, clean modern rooms, great bar and 5 star food. Also, the best pizza in Livigno. It is away from the center of town but with the Amerikan ski slope across the road an easy traverse along the slopes to the gondola. Bus stop 50m away so easy to get anywhere. Had a great 1 week stay in December 2024, booked again for December 2025.

The husband and I have just had a week at the Amerikan. It was fab. Service from start to finish, reception, bar, restaurant, cleaning were all exceptional. People were warm, considerate, helpful and always engaging. Our room was super, plenty of space with modern fixtures, good lighting and an excellent en suite ….. one of the best showers ever and a plentiful supply of steaming hot water. The location for us was super but I wanted to let those who read the review that it is at the far end of Livigno. It’s a 30 minute walk back if you don’t want to use buses and the drag pull ski lift does enable access to the rest of the ski area if there is plenty of snow. We loved the location. Buses are plentiful to get you to the main lifts of the resort and if you get the blue bus rather than the red bus it is pretty empty on a morning. I really recommend the hotel.
