Hotel Amira Istanbul

Hotel Amira Istanbul is a small, welcoming hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel at home. Check-in was quick, and they were always ready with helpful tips about the city. My room was clean and comfortable, with simple decor that still felt warm and inviting. The bed was soft, and I appreciated small touches like a selection of Turkish teas and daily turndown service. Housekeeping kept everything neat without ever disturbing my schedule. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight. It offers a clear view of Istanbul’s famous skyline, with domes and minarets all around. It was the perfect spot to relax in the morning sun or watch the city lights at night. Each day began with a delicious Turkish-style breakfast. The spread included menemen (scrambled eggs with tomato and pepper), fresh simit (sesame bread rings), local cheeses, olives, honeycomb, and seasonal fruit. The staff served everything quickly and were happy to explain each dish. Overall, Hotel Amira delivers exactly what you need: a clean, comfortable room; attentive, friendly service; and a great location near major sights. If you want a simple, stress-free stay in Istanbul with a taste of local flavors, this hotel is a solid choice.

Everything about this hotel is great, staff are super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and bathrooms are up to standards. Breakfast was delicious. Only problem was I booked a floor room and the noise outside was disturbing at night for baby, people are constantly walking and driving past. Location is perfect, close to everything.

I booked this hotel and paid in full and then found out over a month before our departure that we could get 2 free rooms through Turkish airlines as a part of their stopover policy. I asked nicely for the hotel to refund it and they refused. Horrible customer service and understanding of a customer’s situation when they could clearly get someone else to book our room over a month I. Advance and probably get more money for the room. I do not recommend this hotel. If your plans change you will be out of luck canceling and they will not refund you any of the money that they should giving them Amble time to get the room reserved to another person.
