Hotel and the City Midtown

Great location for a family trip to NYC! The room was CLEAN with unique rooftop patio. Similar to a studio apt, small, but all you really need for a great trip to experience the city. Traveled with 3 teens and it was plenty of room. Great host had coffee maker and filters for us, and very responsive. Elevator can be slow at busier times and a fan may have helped with keeping the room cooler, but it was 100 degrees during our visit and AC worked ok. Highly recommend!

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Manhattan! I stayed at Hotel and The City and had an amazing experience. Everything exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Manhattan—close to everything you could possibly need. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, and I truly felt welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York, whether for business or vacation. I will definitely be coming back!

There is no daily cleaning service and you have to request towels every time you need them. There is no in room phone, so you need to go down to the office on the main floor for anything you need, which was sort of a pain. The kitchenette was great and came in handy. Henry was great and super helpful. There is luggage storage in the office if you need, which was helpful.
