Hotel Antica Tabaccaia

We visited the place for a school trip. They referred to me as "The Voice of God" mainly because of how loud my voice was when giving instructions. The staff was very hospitable and accommodated everything that we could have needed. Overall nice place to stay and it is nestled in a wooded area. Could not have asked for a better place to stay on a school field trip.

You can see this place has some history and is in a beautiful, private and calm location. I believe the place in the inside needs a revamp, pretty old, with old furniture. The mattresses were bad, you could feel everything. The staff, some people were nice but the biggest part honestly speaking they were pretty rude when you asked stuff and sometimes it seemed an effort to be in contact with people. The pool is nice and I loved the modality that every room has a dedicated part to lie down.

This is a SORRY excuse for a hotel. The staff of this establishment are despicable. As if it wasn't bad enough to find several dead bugs around our room, the reek of mold was horrifying. The odor and physical appearance of the mold was disgusting. The rooms are evidently not cleaned; upon arrival, we were welcomed by several cobwebs, spiders, and mosquitoes. If you felt dirty after reading that, don't worry !! You will NOT get clean in those showers because they flood the entire bathroom and feed into the mold that is already growing in the showers. The staff were horrible about dealing with our complaints in regards to our HEALTH and I will never stoop as low as to stay here again. SAVE YOURSELF
