We have just had a 7 night stay here and the hotel is fantastic. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained, the house keeper was loverly 😊 Our only negative was that our room looked out onto the back street which was very noisy, the air conditioning was not on and the room was stifling hot without the windows open. The noisy street in the early hours woke me every day 😢
The room was beige with a padded wall and no pictures. Sun terrace had dirty glasses on a couple of tables one morning. The positives are the sheets and towels were changed regularly and although the shower was very small there was plenty of water. However our room had a brown mark in the shower drain You were close to the harbour but from the coach drop it was quite a walk up a steep slope. Not good with a large case, but there was no drop off outside hotel. Packed breakfast was abysmal. A bottle of warm water, warm orange juice, a cheap cake and a packet of toast (?) with a pack of runny butter which had been left out all night in temperstures over 30 degrees. A yoghurt was added in the morning. I ate nothing of it. I would not recommend this as a 4 star hotel.
We arrived at the hotel and all our Gruop checked in fine (3rooms) Room cards were the given to us so we proceeded to our rooms 2 were fine but one was 28 degrees so I asked reception if something was wrong with the air conditioning which they said no it’s fine ! The other 2 rooms were a cold 17 degrees and air conditioning blowing on speed 3 So I asked if they could come and check but refused as they could check on there Pc and said it was fine. After sweating for hours on the room we approached for a 3rd time and was told a maintenance guy would come and check so we went out for a few hours. On our return we approached reception who said it was all good now. We went to the room to find 27.5degrees with nothing coming out of air conditioning so I went and asked for the manager who checked and agreed it was not working and immediately changed our room which was a cool 20 degrees. The rest of the stay was pleasant apart from the Asian girl on reception who constantly told us the air conditioning was fine literally ignored us the rest of our stay. I must say all the other staff especially the breakfast team we warm and welcoming and we would gladly stay again
