We arrived at the hotel on June 16 and were given a room on the lounge floor, which included access to the lounge. There, guests could enjoy ice cream, dried fruit, chips, juice, and alcohol – a very nice touch. Unfortunately, a few guests (we won’t mention nationality, but many can probably guess) emptied most of the snacks within the first hour. This issue resolved itself once they checked out – not the hotel’s fault, of course, but worth mentioning. The room was clean and stylish. We had booked a twin room but received two beds pushed together. Easy fix though – we just separated them about 30 cm. The bathroom was modern and pleasant, no complaints there. The hotel offers parking in the back, which is convenient, but a word of warning: if you’re easily stressed, you might want to avoid it. The staff managing the parking were in such a rush that we barely had time to grab our luggage before being urged to move quickly. It was a bit overwhelming. We didn’t try the pool since we spent most of our time at the beaches further north on Okinawa.
Pretty new and well kept hotel. Rooms are decent, clean and practical. Service is also not bad but they are very rigid in terms of following the regime. Breakfast is good but a bit pricey. The lounge is amazing though. We didn’t really know what it was, but free drinks, snacks, wine etc. Absolutely worth the extra. Pool closes at 7 for children, which seems a bit early.
Wouldn’t Stay Again The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the free coffee in the lobby. Cleanliness was okay-ish, not terrible but not great either. That’s pretty much where the positives end. The hotel feels really old and outdated. It’s in serious need of renovation to justify the price, or they should just lower the price altogether because right now, it’s not worth it. At best, it’s a 2-star experience. I’ve stayed at better hostels in Japan for a fraction of the cost. The beds were too hard, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the room had a stale, musty smell. The “restaurant” was more like a brightly lit cafeteria with zero atmosphere. Not exactly a place you’d want to hang out. Even the rooftop pool, which they highlight in their photos, was a letdown. It’s small, not very clean, has weird lighting (kind of like a tacky bar), and to top it off, they charge 3000 yen just to use it after 7pm. The laundromats even damaged some of my clothes, which I kind of expected but still, not ideal. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again.
