Hotel Arathena

Wow. We have enjoyed a wonderful 10 day stay at the beautiful Arathena hotel. The location is superb - only a few minutes walk from the town centre, which is very busy and vibrant in the evening - yet the hotel area is very quiet and peaceful, with a great view of the mountains. Most of all, we have enjoyed the fantastic hospitality of the staff of the hotel. The breakfast crew served amazing, fresh breakfast every day, the bartender prepares very tasty drinks and snacks, and you can ask anything at the reception and you will be helped so friendly. As the hotel is not that big, you will see the same staff most days, which adds a lovely personal touch. Most of the employees speak good English and like to have a chat. We would absolutely recommend this hotel if you want to discover the north (-east) area of Sardinia!

Beautiful location with incredible views & the staff were exceptional across the board — from reception to the bar and breakfast team — warm, professional & always helpful. Room was always kept immaculate & overall nice atmosphere within the hotel. Good variety for breakfast & close to a small supermarket & a 2min walk down to the the main village where there are lots of restaurants and boutiques to explore. Free hotel car park as well. The hotel is just a 30-minute drive from Olbia Airport. Would recommend hiring a car so you can get around to all the beaches.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days. The location is great and you can reach restaurants and bars in San Pantaleo on foot. The staff are very friendly. Our room was nice in itself but it was a little "musty". I think that can happen in the region and with the climatic conditions. Furthermore, the pool and pool area is very nice, but a little service at the pool would have been desirable. For the price of 235 EUR/night a little bit expandable but generally recommendable.
