Hotel Arenal

I had a comfortable stay here, it’s got a good breakfast buffet which is included in the price of the room, rooms are little pricy compared to other places, maybe they don’t give free breakfast at cheaper places. Overall I’ll definitely recommend this hotel, the staff is awesome, kind and helpful. Muchas Gracias!

Nice hotel with four stars, which I assume have been given quite some years ago before the pandemic. The hotel is somewhat worn down and not quite as expected, but still nice and clean, and with very friendly staff, except for one night portier, which we unfortunately met on our arrival after a night bus transfer from Sucre. Pools and area is ok, but the spa was not heated or even running during our stay. The “fitness room” is a 10m2 room, with four machines. In general, this hotel does not live up to what it promises from its appearance and presentation. What justifies my rating, is mainly due to the nice staff during the daytime.

WORST HOTEL EVER !! When l came on 4/23/23 with my family a taxi told me this hotel had a 4 star rating so l decided to stay here for 2 days. The 2nd night they stole $300 dollars out of my luggages they also tried to open and brake the locked luggages. We went to ask who cleaned our room and to see the security camaras, they did not show us or tell us the name of the person who went into our room as if they were covering up the person. The location of the hotel is also in the center which at night you could hear people yelling and fighting, Please be careful on which hotel you stay in.
