Hotel Ariston

A pleasant and cheerful hotel with a good location for the main sites of Rome, the rooms need a little attention but are clean and have a very comfortable bed, a continental breakfast with some English additions is given, ideal for a day sightseeing. I would definitely stay again, Erica on reception was very helpful as we're all the staff

Overall the hotel was nice, wasn't crazy about the traffic surrounding the streets around it, room was ok, staff was great, If you're on a budget and looking for a public transportation hub point to use like with Roma Pass it's a good area and start point to get around. There are good restaurants in walking distance.

We went to Rome for our 35 year wedding anniversary .july just gone ....Please avoid the hotel at all cost...there are 7 floors and we were guess what on the 7th floor ..the lift door opened and we were hit metaphorically of course by heat ....no air con .....room was OK...looked outside window...view what view old dirty buildings...nice...not then the following morning we went down for breakfast...well I've never seen a poorer selection and I felt we were in a quiet room ...miserable ...the photos on their website are not what we had in our room nore for breakfast ...the surrounding areas avoid .full of immigrants and shops and restaurants are not owned and run by Italians...food was poor in restaurants in the area .. I felt scared walking around Termini train station full of military police ..oh and beware of pick pocketers around termini train station . We are italian ..embarrassed . Go where the Vatican etc is ...safer and better good .
