hotel around TAKAYAMA an Ascend Collection Hotel

Great location, short walk to station & all the restaurants. A big supermarket & pharmacy is 5 mins walk from hotel, lots of varieties of snacks and alcoholic beverages there, price are reasonable too. Staffs are super attentive & friendly, and give a very positive first impression when arrive at the hotel Public Bath on Lvl 2 is good, especially after being out all day and come back and jump into public bath for relaxation

So conveniently located near train and bus station and walkable areas of town. Our check in process was super easy and they were able to get us in a bit early! Kids used the laundry machines which worked great. Our kids (adult aged) had a room on the club floor which gave them access to beverages, snacks and another hangout space. Unfortunately our room was 701 under the club space- super noisy with lots of movement above. Beds pretty comfortable for Japan hotels and rooms super spacious. They had excellent coffee in the room too! We enjoyed the onsen experience as well.

The hotel location is very good(near to the train station and restaurants). There are a lot of parking slot with parking fee 1500 yen per day. Breakfast is quite ok but it was full for early morning (7-8.30am) (especially if you check in after 5pm) and every dish is the same in the next day. The room is really amazing. It’s new, clean, and large. The clothes smelt musty (I visit during rainy days).
