This is a fairly decent hotel. Their breakfast is better than it looks, so do take your time to explore the wide range. Staff are very friendly. One critism, the front desk didn't return our calls from the room when they were busy at the time of the calls. When I went down personally, I was told that they did see the calls but they were busy. However they ought to have returned the calls. Overall very good staff. I recommend you stay here. Parking an additional 1300 yen, but in a neighboring building, very close.

Hotel staff is amicable, service is good, i am able to borrow an adapter. Breakfast is nice. However, the check out time is too early, 11 o’clock, which brings me a big inconvenience, as i need to manage to find a spot for my conference call.

Highly disappointing experience at Hotel Associa. Check in was odd, no warmth or friendliness from the staff but efficient so not an issue, checkout was beyond cold and rude from a different staff member. The room is well sized for Japan standards but is filthy, has the smell of decades of cigarette smell despite choosing a non smoking room. The bathroom was extremely old fashioned but decently clean. The bedroom was poorly cleaned, dust layers on the fixtures and fittings. Very poor lighting, threadbare carpet and scratchy poor quality bedding, also bedding wasn't properly tucked in. The bed was pushed up against a wall which is a clear sign of a low quality hotel too. No safety processes in the hotel (as experienced in every other hotel in Japan). Anyone can enter the hotel and access guest floors. This is the most expensive hotel in the area so for it to fall this short is shocking. It definitely could not be considered a 4 star, and compared to 3 stars we stayed in in Japan I wouldn't even say its worthy of 3 stars. Great location, right next to the station and shopping malls so good transport links and food options.
