Quite possibly the best overall hotel experience I've had. First, the picture was our view from the top floor room (room #10). From every window there are breathtaking scenes of Prague. The location is 10m from the Charles bridge and close to everything. As for the room, it was very clean, modern, comfortable and had tons of personality with wooden beams and floors. The bathroom had a tub and walk in shower with a rain maker with great water pressure. The staff were incredibly helpful from the front desk to the great on site restaurant, and very patient with our lack of ability to speak Czech. A few notes: we stayed in March and the surrounding area was busy. I can only imagine that it's insane during the summer so keep that in mind. The rooms with the best views are higher up (duh). It's a very old building so there is no elevator, meaning a walk up narrow winding steps. I found no issue with this and felt it added to the charm, but those with disabilities may want to consider a lower floor room. Lastly the courtyard in front of the hotel has food and mulled wine vendors all week long as an added bonus. To end my book of a review. If my wife and I ever make it back to Prague, I won't even consider another hotel, we'll be staying here again!

We stayed here for three nights with our kid. The place is beautiful, everything was great. Rooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with kettle, tea and Nescafe. It's located few seconds from The Charles bridge, but away enough from noise and crowd. Breakfast was great, stuff was great and the restaurant where you can have a lunch/dinner or just grab a beer was great as well.

Good Location, Yet You Feel Unwelcome All the Time Don’t be fooled by the promise of a “view” of the Carl Bridge — the Junior Suite with View has only small attic-style windows, so there’s virtually no view at all. The room layout is also disappointing. There’s no separation between the bedroom and the bathroom — the shower is completely open. If you're not comfortable showering in full view of your companion, this setup will be frustrating. At €200 per night, the experience falls far short of expectations. Worst of all was the staff attitude: not a single smile during our stay. On the contrary, we constantly felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there
