Size of room was good, i had a nice balcony in the room, wifi was sometimes slow, good location, very close to most important sites, very close to city center.

Hotel to be avoided! The hotel is extremely dirty and run down. The staff spends more time sitting around drinking coffee and smoking than maintaining the hotel. In fact the common areas reek of cigarettes. We were given a partial cleaning of our room on arrival (dust visible in various places) and our bathroom (visible marks on the sink and even on the toilet). We also had to ask for top sheets (the cleaning lady had forgotten). The carpet in the rooms and especially on the stairs in the common areas was never vacuumed during our stay (although we stayed four nights). During our absence once, they even forgot to close the door of my friend's room even though he had left his personal belongings including his passport (the door was left wide open). We were never able to speak to the manager who was supposedly out of town. PS: False advertising as there is no SPA (as indicated in the description) and there is no breakfast service (as shown on the pictures).

We arrived a week ago at about 22.00 with heavy rain and two sleepy babies in the car, after having booked the other night via the well-known e-platform. The receptionist looked at my passport and said "It's all booked!" I told him we have a reservation. After a few minutes searching in the computer, he realized I was telling the truth and started calling other hotels to find a room for us... In the end, he found us a room in a 4-star hotel in close distance, but we had to make rounds and rounds for a long time, because that hotel was on the main pedestrian road and the car entrance was quite hidden (in Bosnia we had no entrance to our internet data). While trying to pay next day, the receptionist asked us an almost double amount of what we had booked... We explained the situation and that it was definitely not our fault and that we weren't going to pay a euro more. Since they hadn't received any notice whatsoever from Atina Hotel, they contacted it repeatedly and in the end they let us pay the amount we had first booked. Awful client service, totally unprofessional.
