Hotel Atlanta Knokke

I stayed two days in this hotel at the end of June/ 2024. In general it meets the expectations of 65% as a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is good, however one point is really big problem for the hotel. They never mention the high noisy of the street in front of the hotel. The back-side rooms can have less noise but the rooms in front are really big problem. We stayed in a front room. We think first night can be acceptable and we did not change the room but second night much worser. I hope hotel can change the windows with a noisy resistance glasses

The rooms are nice but a little small. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. The beds are good. The apartment also has a big kitchen. You have everything you need. The personnel wasn't always friendly. The corona breakfast was small. The parking isn't convenient, it is very small. It is also cheaper to park in the street(if there is a place to park). The dinner was delicious.

Such a disappointment. Lets start with that hotel has no ramp at the entrance, only stairs. So if you are with a buggy, you need to carry up the stairs yourself. For wheelchair users they put something portable. We asked why they don't have ramp and the answer was that it gets very slippery? I don’t think that this is a reason not to build it. Lifts are extremely small and claustrophobic. We had to go up to the 3rd floor apart, as we had baby buggy and all of us didn’t fit in the lift. Smell in the room from sewage was horrible. We had to keep windows open all the time. Shower was not draining properly, water was running out and all floor was flooded. Probably it was blocked, and thats what caused all the horrible smell. There was black hair everywhere in the bathroom, even on the ceiling? Kitchen in the restaurant in the evening is open only for half an hour. So if the time doesn't suit you, you have to eat outside. Or they will offer you to order takeaway. When asked why kitchen is open only for half an hour, answer was that we are a hotel, not a restaurant. Like seriously? 4* hotel suppose to have fully functioning restaurant and bar. It’s the first time we experience this. And I have worked in hospitality industry myself, so i know what I’m talking about. Staff were just to do their job, didn't understand the meaning of customer service at all. Only Karim in breakfast room knew how to communicate with clients. Cannot say the same about receptionists. Ignoring customers, nor greeting them or offering help. Room was also very small. We have booked large double room, but I assume we were given different one, as hotel was full on the weekend. Only good thing about hotel is location.
