Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Atlantic Hotel on Juist. The rooms are equipped to a high standard, the balcony offers a beautiful view, and the breakfast buffet and the wellness area with swimming pool, sauna and steam bath leave nothing to be desired. With one exception, the service staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, which made the stay very pleasant. However, the check-in experience was somewhat disappointing: Although the rooms are officially not ready for occupancy until 3 p.m., it would be desirable if newly arriving guests were given priority when cleaning the rooms - instead of first cleaning all the rooms of the guests already in the house. This doesn't quite meet the standard of service you would expect from a hotel of this category. Also a small welcome service, e.g. B. a coffee to bridge the waiting time could have made a big difference here. The three-course menu at the Hotel Freese that was included in the package was also not convincing - the Cordon Bleu was very over-fried and tasted disappointing. The dessert was also not convincing. All in all, and especially with regard to these less pleasant experiences, in our opinion the price-performance ratio is no longer entirely consistent. Overall, the hotel seemed a bit overpriced to us, especially since there are comparable or even better offers on Juist at a fairer price. Nevertheless: Anyone who values ​​nice rooms, friendly service and a good breakfast will generally feel at home here. With a little more attention to service details, the Atlantic Hotel could fully live up to its high standards.
