The hotel is in an amazing location as it’s only a 5 minute walk from the station and is right behind the city centre. Very nice and helpful staff. We also got a free upgrade to an amazing room with a great view of the duomo.
Lovely hotel for a short stay, the hotel room is very old fashioned (back dated) but it gives you the vibe of Italy. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely visit again.
I've booked deluxe single room with internal steps and it was tragic experience. First of all, room is super small, it was noisy and I couldn't sleep, view through the window was into the construction, ac was very loud so I turned off it for the night, but when you turn it off there is no air in the room to breathe. To go to the bathroom you need to go down via stairs (I did not see such old stairs). Bathroom did not have place to hang the towels, shower head is attached to the wall and you cannot take shower properly. Ceiling everywhere is from wood, you really feel like living in the 15th century. The only good things are the delicious breakfast and the polite staff. I stayed there for 4 nights and payed 800€ for this trash hotel. Do not recommend it.
