Hotel Aurora

Hotel Aurora was a wonderful location and base for our stay in Amalfi and exploring the entire coastline. it’s quiet and tucked away at the end of the promenade but easily walkable into town. Staff were all friendly and helpful with tour, travel and restaurant recommendations, and breakfast choices were plenty on the beautiful rooftop terrace. Our room at the front had a balcony and sea view, efficient air conditioning, cool tile flooring and was cleaned throughly every day. We will definitely come back ! Thank you !

Great location, staff are amazing, tasty breakfast with lots of choices. Our room was very comfortable with an outdoir balcony with spa, loved it. Didn't want to leave.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our honey moon and this place was a culture shock. We had a standard room which was very small which was fine as we did not spend our time in our room. When we had to sleep the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It felt as if we were sleeping on a rock, carpeted flooring is more comfortable (which we would have slept on if the floor was not tile). This made the rest our honeymoon difficult as our backs were hurting so much & in the mornings even our ribs were sore. They should also include sound machines in the rooms that are close to the parking lot as we woke up to cars honking several times. The rooms did have a little refrigerator which was nice to be able to put water in. The view of the water was absolutely incredible. The blow dryer in the bathroom was out of this world & room service during the day always did a nice job. Breakfast in the mornings were fine & the patisserie was fresh/coffee was good. The view on the terrace was excellent. The front desk was very kind depending on who was working, but the staff in the evening was not helpful. During the day most of the staff is amazing & helpful. They assisted with dinner reservations/recommendations on where to go. We were able to book travel accommodations through the hotel for airport transportation which was amazing. Both drivers were excellent & one stopped to take our picture in Ravello which was so sweet. They advertise having 24 front desk service, and as we were walking to our rooms ladies were asking for more blankets and he could not help them. One evening we had no conditioner, my husband went down to get more and the guy told my husband he’d have to call and see if we can get more as he did not know where they kept conditioner.
