Hotel Aurum Family A

😊 What I liked: - They are pet friendly (although 12 euro/night for a small dog we had to pay extra.) - We had breakfast and dinner included on night fare. - A generous parking (you will pay 6-7 euro/night) - Wifi was good in our room. - Great location for the Hungarospa - Comfortable bed. You can have a really good rest during night in those beds. ☹ What I didn't like: - They didn't specified about parking fee when I called from home asking for details. - They don't speak anything except Hungarian it is very hard to communicate with them. - Towels in the bathroom are way too thin for a 4 stars hotel. - Shower gel is a very low quality for a 4 stars hotel. - The lack of any bathroom stand in the shower to place your toiletries. - The lack of any room & hotel information in English (in the room) - To turn on the AC system you need to go down at the reception and tell them your room number and the temperature you would like to set (they tell you to dial 0 from the room but the phone is not working so you have to go down). - Dirty floors - You can't pay with credit card in the restaurant - Coffee machine at breakfast offers an instant coffee not ground coffee. If you like a good espresso coffee you need to get it from the bar for about 1.26 euro. If you don't have kids with you maybe Aurum Family is not a good idea for your staying as this hotel is full of families with kids. In my opinion it is not a 4 stars hotel ... maybe 3 stars. I don't recommend this hotel!

Room with very bad conditions. the water from the bathroom flows into the room when you take a shower, dead insects on the floor, the carpet in the room with an intense smell of dust. Dinner and Breakfast were reasonable. the swimming pool and the fitness room are not available. We had to leave a day earlier because the problems could not be solved. The rooms were not cleaned the next day. Conditions are maximum 3 stars

I stayed there for 9 nights, bc of a business trip. At the first day where I arrived at the hotel, i thought it a good one, bc the next building to this hotel looks super nice and called aurum hotel without family in the name. Then the rooms look on the picture way bigger as they are, they're not so big. I asked for a room service bc after few days, it might be nice to get a new towel, didn't get one. I also asked, if it possible to get one plate in my room, they said I have to eat down in their dining room and I cant take it with me. The room smells like after the carpet. Price is super overpriced! It's a shame! The only good point is the location but the rest its super bad. Thanks
