Hi, I recently stayed at this hotel and thought I'd take the time to share my experience. The room and the meals were all first class but it was the after service that impressed me the most. I'd like to thank the cleaners who found something that was very valuable to me that I left in the room and a special mention to Melissa who contacted me about it, I didn't realise I left it and would have been devastated if I lost it. I was too far down the road to return to collect but Melissa really showed a lot of class and organised to have it delivered to me at a later date, she took photos of the post office transactions and kept me updated, this level of service is unheard of these days, Melissa you are a credit to your industry, thank you so much. If ever I'm going that way again I'll have no problems deciding where to stay, thanks again. Jason Gersbach.

Our group of 6 stopped for lunch in the dog friendly beer garden. We ordered the garlic prawn pizza which was excellent the amazing base was as good as the pizzas in Italy. The flat head tails were so fresh and so was the calamari. Prawn tacos were great too. Highly recommend stopping here for lunch a great pub with a rich history.

We had pizza for dinner on a balmy Saturday night. They were about $30 each. It's a beautiful building, carefully renovated. We sat out the front overlooking the main street, with glimpses of a mountain horizon sunset. It's a nice place to sit. (Although takeaway pizza at a local bay or ocean scenic spot might have been a better option in hindsight) I don't know what's happening at this pub, but there was ONLY pizza available for dinner, besides starters. Pretty odd given the smart renovation and styling of the pub. They arrived promptly. The base was not too bad, but the toppings slapdash, unseasoned and just not tasty. We certainly paid a premium for the setting. These were maybe as good a pizzas as you'd get a local takeaway. Sorry Australasian but your food sorely lets you down.
