We were celebrating the 50th anniversary of my grandparents marriage. We were served a pre-ordered menu of 3 courses and the food was excellent. After every course everyone was offered extra if he wanted more of said dish. At the end of our visit the owners even went out of their way and gave my grandparents a small gift. I can really recommend Hotel Brunner for big events, but obviously you should contact them first. They will do all they can to make the visit a pleasure.

2014.09.10: This hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! Our room (number 10) is on the 2nd (European) floor and has a balcony that looks out over the entire valley and the mountains in the distance (only downside: you can smell when people smoke on the neighboring balconies). The room was on the small side, but it's very cozy and clean. The hotel itself is wonderful! It's on a small farm, the mountain air is very fresh, and you can smell the farm smells, which I really like. One of the main things to do here is walking/hiking in the forest-covered mountains, and there's a beautiful trail that leaves from the backyard of the hotel, from which you can reach an Alm in about an hour, with beautiful views into the valley. We ran into a herd of cows along the way, each with a bell around its neck! The price was also very reasonable. We had a rate that included dinner and breakfast (which is good, since there's not much else around in terms of food), and the food was delicious and authentically local. (I love kaesespaetzl!) And the staff were incredibly accommodating! We were traveling with our small child, and they helped us store milk, and even let us take dinner up to our room since he was sleeping at dinner time. I would definitely come back for a few more days if I could. It's incredibly relaxing and beautiful!
