Hotel Aviva

I stayed there because my kid was admitted in the klinikum and this was the only available option at walkable distance. 15min walk from tram station but no supermarket nearby only a shop at the petrol station. Overall room was ok for a night stay, bath was good with hot water, bed was comfy and clean. Breakfast was ok for the price paid. Wifi is not working in the rooms. A little expensive for the price.

Nice personnel. Good bed! But they couldnt compansate for the stinky room - it was clean but was stinking as a sewery. I got headaches both nights. The view is to a DHL truck park. The room rates were high because of a big congress. I was happy they had gluten-free bread for thr breakfast - thanks for that. But pls take care of that smell.

Would highly not recommend it! It was an unfortunate experience like from a horror movie! The worst was the behaviour of the staff. The man from the reception came to my room late at night (around 12 am) and after a plenty of knocks on the door and without saying any word that he is from the hotel he tried to open the door with his card. Ich was so scared (he did it twice) After all of the stress he said something and I registered his voice and opened. There was a problem with the transaction, he didn’t apologise for for disturbing me, he didn’t care about the sticker „do not disturb me“ on the door. Hopefully I speak German because otherwise the communication would be impossible, he even didn’t speak a single word in English. Do not make my mistake choosing this place!
