The place where I had the worst hotel experience of my travels. An extremely unsafe business. They stole my friend's phone at the entrance gate and since we are tourists, no one helped us and they did not help with the camera recordings.

I visit Bogotá several times a year and have stayed at much better hotels for less. My experience at this hotel was nothing short of terrible. Before arriving, I called to confirm my reservation and all details. However, as soon as I landed in Bogotá, the hotel messaged me saying there was a “mistake” in the reservation and that I would have to pay more than originally agreed. Since it was the same day as my reservation and I had no other options, I reluctantly paid the additional charge. The receptionist assured me that was the full amount due. The next day, they demanded even more—double the original price. At this point, Booking.com had to get involved because it was clear the hotel staff was trying to scam guests. Different employees gave conflicting stories about the price “mistake” and how much the rooms actually cost. While standing at the front desk, I overheard them quoting different prices to other guests checking in. Their lies continued even when I confronted them with contradicting WhatsApp messages they had sent me—messages I had saved. Ultimately, Booking.com had to step in to resolve the issue, but by then, my group had already paid nearly triple our original reservation price. Beyond the pricing scam, the hotel itself was not worth what we paid. The WiFi was horrible. The sheets were cheap and thin, the mattress was horrible—you could feel the metal springs. The toilet took forever to go down. The hot water was hot, but only if you let it run for a while. The sink and shower faucets were faulty and splashed water everywhere, yet we were explicitly told not to use the towels to clean the floor (there was even a sign on the bedroom door forbidding it). Clearly, this was a known issue. Noise was a major problem; we could hear everything—other guests in their rooms, hallway conversations, and traffic outside. While Uber drivers had no trouble finding the hotel, it wasn’t within walking distance of anything worthwhile or necessary. My group booked two rooms (four guests), and not one of us could find a single good thing about our stay—except that the hot water eventually worked. By the end of our stay, I didn’t trust the hotel staff at all, so I took picture evidence of everything in the room. Would absolutely not recommend this hotel. However, I’m extremely grateful to Booking.com for stepping in to help.

worst hotel experience i have ever had. Our room was three single bad but they gave 4 single bad room which is right behind the entrance. It is soo loudly that impossible to sleep. If your sleeping is sensitive and you can wale up with noise then you definitely shouldn’t choose this hotel
