Hotel Baia Azzurra

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room with the jacuzzi facing the lake was great !

The view from the hotel’s location is incredible and the lake just steps away but that’s really the only positive thing I have to say about it. I stayed in a room on the top floor with a private jacuzzi but little did I know the building’s roof slopes down in the room (see photo)making it impossible not to hit my head several times. To compensate for the lack of height in the room, the bed was just barely higher than the floor. The shower, meanwhile, was right by the door to walk in with no place to hang a towel. There is a desk in the room but nowhere to even fit a chair. The air conditioning was mediocre at best. Also keep in mind location-wise you have to walk at least 15-20 minutes to get to restaurants. And rather than having someone available to help with reservations and other plans, there’s a computer in the lobby encouraging you to use ChatGPT for guidance.

I have booked room throught agoda. Since i mistakenly booked for 1week later, while i was already driving to hotel i came there and wanted to ask if its possible to cancel and check in same day. They said they dont see booking, but after two days agoda replied that they dont want to refund despite hotel is empty because its out of season. Woman on reception didnt speak english, just basic words, the were not nice and sincere. Bad energy. Would never spent night there. Hopefully they change owner, stuff and. Hotel policies. If someone one free night there since its already payed 8-9.3.25 write me.
