My wife and I are just back from enjoying a wonderful holiday in this amazing hotel, no bells and whistles, just a lovely clean hotel with amazing staff. All the staff were polite, helpful and very welcoming. We stayed in a room with a balcony which looked onto the sea, with a stunning view of the beach and surrounding area, the room had air-conditioning and was very adequate for our 10 day stay. On the 5th floor there is a sun terrace with loungers which is usually quiet. The breakfast is lovely and the evening meals are reasonably priced if you are bed and breakfast. The whole area seems to get quiet about 11-30 at night. If you want to stay out later the hotel is right next to the cable cars which will take you up to Taormina town, the cable cars stop running about 1.00.am. All in all a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting.

On arrival via the easy jet transfer the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our room was CLEAN AND TIDY and the beds comfortable. We opted for a room without a sea side view/balcony, but the the hotel has a beautiful balcony for all guest to sit on and take in the beautiful view, which you can see in the pictures below. The location was perfect. Less the 5 mins walk to the beach, and then 5 mins walk to the cable cars. The cable cars cost €10 return to go up into the old town, which was very reasonable. There is also another beach called the flamingo beach. The hotel supplies a mini bus and a sun bed hire for €35-40 for, 10:15am till 4:15pm and they have a lovely cafe there as well. We also went on an amazing boat trip, cost €35-40 for a few hours. The hotel staff were helpful, in helping us sort this day trip out. Overall this was an amazing hotel and holiday and will definitely be coming back. 10/10 experience

This hotel is basic however, not to be faulted with cleanliness, my room was cleaned every day. The staff were always polite and helpful and the hotel location is fantastic, near the cable cars at 10EUR return or right by the bus stop to go up into Taormina was 2.50EUR return. The beach is directly opposite but down some steps and had public toilets unlike Isola Bella that only had beach clubs. The area at night was quiet with places shutting by 11pm (never kicked out but when they start turning off the lights, you get the point!) Breakfast at the hotel was good with a great selection to suit everyone and I went half board, and the food was excellent, small choice but very tasty. (If you are a 'picky' eater, you may struggle) I've read a review that states only the upgraded rooms have balcony's - that's wrong, I didn't get upgraded but had a balcony, on the side but still space outside and views of the bay, most rooms did have a balcony (on the side) only a few did not. I had an amazing time and the hotel was good for the price and shouldn't be discounted because of a few reviews that give misleading information.
