Hotel Barberini

Very pleased with the hotel which is centrally located but quiet inside. All the staff are courteous and professional. Breakfast on the roof top terrace is very pleasant where Laura's service every morning was beyond exceptional and memorable. Would highly recommend staying there. Thanks to all at Hotel Barberini!

I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen personal circumstances. I provided 12 days notice, which I felt was more than reasonable time for the hotel to rebook the room. Despite this, they were unwilling to offer a refund , citing policy. While I understand terms and conditions are in place, a bit of flexibility and compassion—especially when ample notice is given—would have left a far better impression. Sadly, this experience has made me think twice about booking here in the future.

A Major Letdown in a Great Location An incredibly disappointing experience, especially considering the premium price. While the location is excellent, the service and amenities were far below expectations. The bathroom had a strong sewage odor, and the shower sink was clogged, causing water to leak out from under the glass door and seep into the room. It was both inconvenient and unsanitary. Despite the high price, basic comforts were lacking. The USB charger in the room wasn’t working, and although I was told someone would fix it the next day, no one ever came. Aside from tea and coffee, nothing was complimentary—not even bottled water. The air conditioning didn’t work, and instead of fixing it, a fan was left in the room—as if sweating through the night was part of the experience. This hotel Management is a failure and it seems they are happy collecting money rather than providing excellent service. Easily one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Avoid if you value comfort or service.
