A gem of quiet elegance on a rugged mountain top. Understated and accommodating. This was a perfect stop for me driving from southern Italy to Rome. The waiter in the excellent dining room watched me devour my dinner pasta. Seeing there was only a taste of sauce left on the bottom of my plate, he said, “Would you like a little piece of bread to soak up that last bit of sauce.” What a thoughtful gesture!

Hotel situated on a hill overlooking the village, giving stunning panoramic views. Beds in the main building were very firm, and the shower cubicle was very compact.
