Absolutely stunning hotel with rich Mayan-inspired design and a peaceful, jungle atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Every detail felt personal and thoughtful. If you’re looking for a serene, soulful getaway with top-tier service, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Hotel Bardo in Tulum was everything I needed for a 4-day solo reset — peaceful, luxurious, and deeply relaxing. The staff made me feel comfortable and truly cared for as a solo female traveler. Plus the spa treatment (Gloria?) was amazing. My days consisted of a morning dip in the heated soaking pool outside my villa, room service in the mini courtyard outside my villa, relaxing at the enormous "pool" while reading, journaling, drinking mescalitas and napping, lunch either at bardo or una vida next door, more lounging and swimming in the pool. Dinner and drinks at Palma Central. It's only a 10 minute walk away and there are great food trucks and live music when you want a livelier vibe. I can't wait to go back. I think I will make Hotel Bardo an annual relaxation treat for myself!

10/10 – A Soulful Escape in Paradise Hotel Bardo exceeded every expectation and delivered a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel like honored guests. They were welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their warmth set the tone for a peaceful and personalized getaway. The food was absolutely divine. What truly stood out was the chef’s willingness to go above and beyond. I mentioned craving a breakfast sandwich that wasn’t on the menu, and without hesitation, the chef created the one of the I’ve ever had. Every bite reflected the care and creativity that goes into the food here. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, lush, serene, and beautifully maintained. It feels like a hidden sanctuary, perfectly private and incredibly relaxing. The absence of TVs in the rooms is a thoughtful touch; it encourages you to unplug, be present, and truly connect with the person you’re with and the peaceful energy of the space. Hotel Bardo is more than a place to stay, it’s an experience. Peaceful, soulful, and effortlessly luxurious. We can’t wait to return!!!!
