Corporate has gutted what was once a beautiful hotel. Inadequate heating, gaps under doors. Pay for internet. No heating in the dining room. You are paying for a once in a lifetime view.
Nowhere to eat, the closest place is a neighboring hotel and you can only eat at certain times, not to mention the food is super expensive. They prioritize larger tourist groups. Heater was broken and the maintenance man had "inspected" before checking in and said everything was okay. Receptionist was nice though and they brought an electric space heater to my room. Basic room for 2x the price.
