Clean room with great access to downtown. Parking is available for €21, but it’s limited to small cars—not suitable for full-size vehicles. There are two nice coffee places nearby, perfect for meeting friends or enjoying a cozy, relaxing time on your own. Easy access to the lake and river, and it’s one of the best walking areas. In front of the hotel, there are plenty of pay-to-park spots for €8 (for 2-3 hours). The staff were nice and polite. They knew we were tourists and were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel also offered a bowl of apples for guests—very delicious indeed! 😊😃
We were incredibly impressed by our stay at Hotel Baseler Hof! Great location, walking distance to anything you could want to do. The building is older but lovingly maintained. The front end staff and thoughtful amenities really made all the difference -- every time we walked by the front desk, we were greeted. When they saw we were bringing in take-out for dinner, they asked if we needed a fork. When it was raining, they offered us umbrellas as we went out to walk the city. And they offer free public transit passes! To top it all off, the sauna was fantastic. Thank you for a great stay!
Everything was great about this hotel. From the the reservation processing to the check out the staff was friendly and efficient the room was super comfortable and the location can't be no better. Great.
