Overall a great hotel. Festively and tastefully decorated for Christmas. It’s clear how much effort has gone into everything. The restaurant and breakfast room offer a very pleasant ambiance, and the cozy fireplace area in the lobby is an excellent spot to relax. The Junior Suite was very spacious. Both the rooms and the entire property are impeccably clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the bathroom was relatively small. A word of caution when showering: due to a faulty seal, the entire bathroom can quickly flood. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd like to emphasize that especially the younger crew is cordial and bright. In contrast, the waitresses in charge of the breakfast buffet were quite bossy and domineering. The breakfast buffet itself is excellent, with a wide variety of options and most items tasting great. Fans of Bavarian or English breakfasts will also be satisfied. Unfortunately, the Christmas Eve dinner buffet was disappointing. It lacked festive flair, the selection was very limited, and the quality was below average—likely due to the presence of large coach tour groups.
