Hotel Beaulac

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has a great location, making it easy to explore the area. The staff and service were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The hotel has a nice restaurant, and the best part is the rooftop bar. It has amazing views of the Alps and mountains, and the sushi bar there is excellent. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with great scenery and good service.

Overall an excellent hotel, in a fantastic location at the side of lake Neufchâtel, close to the city centre. The restaurant food and service was top notch, I can whole heartedly recommend the restaurant, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. For American guests with a propensity for 60 degree air conditioned rooms, and a slightly US business hotel feel to the rooms, this place is for you. It was 33 degrees C outside today and we couldn’t wait to get back into the chill box room!

Where do I start? I had to take a last-minute work trip to Neuchâtel, Switzerland, for a week. After a very long day, waking up at 4 a.m., flying, and traveling by train, I finally arrived at the hotel around midday. I dropped off my luggage and headed straight to our company’s head office. By 5 p.m., I finally had a moment to explore the hotel I had heard so many great things about from my colleagues. I sat down for dinner, and from the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed by Boris at reception and at the dinner area. What a sweetheart very helpful, friendly, and above all, professional. Unfortunately, right after dinner, I began feeling really unwell, likely from the exhaustion and anxiety of the day. I was sick, had a heavy headache, and felt overwhelmed. I called reception for help, and Boris responded immediately. He brought me some medication, checked on me, and even made sure to inform the night shift team so they could keep an eye on me. That simple act of care and awareness made such a huge difference, I was far from home, not knowing anyone, and he made me feel safe and cared for. Truly an incredible person! Even now, a bit more then a month later, I still remember the amazing service and kindness I experienced. It wasn’t just Boris but every member of the team left a wonderful impression. From the restaurant lakeside staff to the breakfast and Waves Lounge Bar team (special thanks to Vincent aswell!), everyone was friendly and welcoming. And a huge thank-you to the cleaning staff who took care of Room 330. I’m a very tidy guest, I always take out my bins and make the bed, but one day before I left, I came back to my room to find chocolates placed lovingly on the bed. That small gesture made me feel truly seen and appreciated. The view from the hotel is spectacular, and the people even more so. Thank you all for such a memorable and heartwarming experience. I am truly thankful for this incredible experience at this hotel, the view is just breathtaking.
