Hotel Belere Arfoud

I must admit that when I read the reviews, I was a little scared about coming to this hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised. On one hand , there are a few facilities and amenities that need updating, for example the towels that we had had holes in them, some of the seats in the dining room were dirty and frayed, and the beds were harder than some of the other beds in the other hotels that we had stayed in on this trip. On the other hand the grounds were so beautiful. The architecture incorporates a lot of the colors and designs of the Amazigh (Berber) people. The cabins were huge and spacious and surrounded by such luscious, colorful and beautiful gardens. The rooms were cozy with the beautiful blue plush blankets. The pool is beautiful, but the water is very cold. The buffet dinner was also amazing. They had a lot of fresh vegetables and the food was very tasty. The staff was friendly and courteous.

I felt everything about the hotel is between 1-2 stars from the outdated rooms to unfriendly staff and even snack bar felt like a haunted house. I guess people stay there more for alcohol availability but other than that the hotel doesn’t really offer any attractions or add value.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, nothing met my expectations. Overall the atmosphere was unwelcoming. This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would not recommend it to others.
