Good hotel for a short stay in Bibione. Very nice location right next to the beach and a short walk to the cities shopping street. The best thing about the hotel was definitely the pool and the breakfast. The pool was super clean and quite and very nice to hang out when you couldn’t go to the beach like us due to the high wind. The breakfast was very delicious with lot of different various tho i would have wished for more Italian Style Breakfast !
3,5 star for me. Very friendly staff and a very good food. Great location and free parking. Big pool, but not heated (water was really cold). The only minus for me are small and old rooms. Looks like nothing has changed in the rooms from 90s. Also very good restaurant and service but nobody speaks english and menu is only in Italian or German. Bit strange for 4 start hotel...
Food: I do not understand the good reviews about food, because it was disgusting. In Italy, you expect good food with fresh, local ingredients, not the torture of said ingredients and store-bought potato croquets and canned corn. The chef does not know how to work with seafood. The fishcakes we tried had bones in them and my mother almost chocked to death. The shellfish WAS NOT FRESH. They actually do not know how to cook tuna. Oftentimes the food was completely unsalted or way too salty, had strange additions, or was not fresh. Staff: Let me start by saying that NO ONE spreaks any English. A bit of German, but badly. The receptionist was rude when we first came in and I had to ask her 3 times and was close to yelling until we had any help with the parking. I felt like I was bothering her. The servers were often incredibly rude, it felt like I was a chore to them and it was very unwelcoming and they came off as bad-mannered. Accomodation: The parking is TINY. We almost got gray hair trying to get a parking space. The hotel is OLD. Not in a good way. The equipment, the halls, the spaces were delapidated and outdated. The lift barely works. The room is tiny and really old. The bed is very uncomfortable, since the matress was old. The pillows were lumpy. How old do they have to be to get into this state? The toilet felt like it would break with every flushing, I was having serious concerns. The fridge did not cool anything. The air-conditioning was incredibly loud, but you had to sleep with it on since you couldn't turn off the balcony light. Cleanliness: The rooms felt dusty and due to age, unsanitary. The toiletries looked used.
