While the location is not the best due to the homeless population and the addiction issues in the neighbourhood, the centralized location with respect to tourist activities and the port is excellent. The hotel itself is very well kept, nice decor and well appointed rooms (albeit small). Our view was of the rooftop and the building behind us, but we were only there for one night.
It was our first time in Vancouver. We loved everything about our stay. From day one Dean the front desk concierge was so helpful and kind. The room was beautiful, super clean. It’s in the entertainment district so it was loud out on the street over the weekend but still easy to sleep. The location was great and we got around really easily. So much nicer than a huge chain hotel!!!
The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and efficient, however the area it is located in is not the best. Walk a few blocks down and there are some nice restaurants. Rooms clean and modern, we didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. They also provided a free welcome drink in the bar on our arrival which was a nice gesture. There are about 10 steps to get up to the front door so hard with large luggage.
