Hotel Belvedere Mentana

When I went on my trip to Italy, I booked this hotel because it seems very intriguing. I was pleasantly surprised by the serene view the hotel offered, both from the rooms, and the eating areas. However, the food, while not bad, was nothing out of the ordinary. It definitely wasn’t something to complain about, but it wouldn’t hurt for it to have been better. When I left for an early flight at 4 am, the staff woke up at absurd hours in the morning to bid me farewell, despite not having to. The staff was very polite and accommodating and wanted to ensure that you had a good experience. It was nice to be slightly distant from the city and be able to experience a more rural part of Italy while not completely abandoning the city aspect. The rooms were fairly average -- nothing too fancy, but nothing too bad. I would have preferred a little nicer setting, but the kind staff and wonderful view definitely make up for it. One of the friendly staff members encouraged me to enjoy the night with fellow hotel guests at a game of cards despite it being later in the evening. Overall, a great experience, and I recommend staying at this hotel as I felt a sense of belonging and warm welcomes!

Rooms were on the smaller side but they were clean. We had to pay for wifi and frankly it wasn't very fast. The hotel is on a hillside and very quiet. Since it's away from the city (about 45mins from Rome) it's very quiet and you can see a sky full of stars during the night

The worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The only good thing was the design. Curtains are broken, cannot be closed. WiFi is charged for 10€/day. Some rooms even don’t have phone signal. The hotel seems to be very stingy. “Any damage will be paid” is written everywhere. Tv from the last century. Washing clothes is severely forbidden in the room. Strange hotel, remote location, never choose this hotel, or you will regret.🙃
