One of the Best Stays We've Ever Had!!! My husband and I agree that this was one of the best stays we've ever experienced—if not the best. From the beautifully designed rooms to the exceptional food and relaxing wellness areas, everything was truly perfect. The multi-course dinners (4-5 courses) were a highlight, showcasing high-quality, local, and organic ingredients. Every dish and drink reflected thoughtfulness and care. Simply incredible. What really set this place apart, though, was the warmth of the staff and the owners. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet, and they made us feel completely at home. This was our second winter holiday here and was as good as our first. A very nice couple we met on our first holiday we met up again and I asked the hotel if we could have a table next to each other which they did thank you. So we have now been lucky enough to have been here for two Summer and two Winter each being a little different but all just as good and we will be back again in the Summer (can’t wait ). We like to holiday here as you can do as little or as much as you want as you just feel so relaxed and all the drinks, cakes and lovely food are great. We just do a lot of walking as that’s what we like, but there is a train station just a short walk away if you like to venture out plus a good bus service as well but do make sure you pick up your Guest card from reception which will help with any costs. So if you are thinking of coming to this hotel you won’t be disappointed friendly Family, all the Staff, lovely Rooms, plus all the food options. See you again very soon. Tony & Tracy
The Bergland is lovely. The service is really friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, and plenty of it. There is a beautiful pool, sauna and steam room. The hotel is located near to, but not in the town centre so it is quiet. The ski areas are either a walk or a short but ride away. There is plenty for non-skiers to do.
