Stopped here for a beer on our hike down the mountain to Bad Hindelang. Very friendly service!! The lady who served us brought us great beer coasters to take home to our sons in Canada. Lovely, peaceful village location. Highly recommended!

A place of humanity, care, and relaxation – our heartfelt thanks to the Berggasthof Sonne Imberg I would hardly have dared to hope that a vacation with my husband, who suffers from dementia, would ever be possible again. But our stay at the Berggasthof Sonne Imberg near Sonthofen exceeded all our expectations – and touched our hearts. Shortly after our arrival, a medical emergency occurred. Thanks to the quick, calm, and level-headed response of the Müller family and the entire team, the situation was quickly brought under control. This commitment was not to be taken for granted – and yet it was exactly what we needed at that moment. The care rooms are immaculately clean, modernly equipped, spacious, and perfectly designed to meet the needs of walker or wheelchair users. There is enough space to move around safely and freely – even in the bathroom. The nursing team deserves our highest praise: friendly, attentive, patient, and full of empathy. You can feel that they work with passion. Another major plus is the house's beautiful location – quiet, close to nature, and with a magnificent view of the Allgäu mountains. The perfect place to unwind and recharge. We were also thoroughly pampered with the culinary delights: The breakfast is a delight – plentiful, varied, and fresh, with various breads, rolls, sausage and cheese specialties, fruit, yogurt, muesli, juices, tea, and coffee. Eggs and bacon are served fresh at your table upon request. In the evening, there is a good, traditional three-course menu with two choices. Particularly worth mentioning: the delicious cakes, which you simply have to try! For us, this vacation was not just a break from everyday life, but a place of security, understanding, and warmth. We are infinitely grateful – and will definitely return. We wholeheartedly recommend it – especially for people in need of care and their families who want to travel with dignity.

Seven of us (6 adults, including one wheelchair user and one toddler) spent a wonderful week here. The rooms were all super clean and a comfortable size with plenty of storage space. Only in one room were the mattresses too hard, although that's always a subjective feeling. Breakfast was balanced and sufficient, with fresh fruit and vegetables and, upon request, even scrambled eggs with bacon. The dinner is also worth mentioning. The food is home-style, with a starter, main course, and dessert. You can choose between two main courses. The food was always delicious, and we were all full. A child-friendly alternative was always offered for the toddler. The nursing staff was also always friendly, helpful, and attentive. The Müller family was always on hand to offer advice and took great care of their guests. The only downside for us, the gambling family, was that the dining room is only open until 9 p.m. (for understandable reasons). But Mr. Müller found a solution for us here too. The area in and around Sonthofen is also worth a visit. There are many destinations, including accessible ones. All in all, it was a great week, and we'll be back.
