Hotel Berlinetta Karuizawa

A lovely petit hotel with heartwarming hospitality 😊 (staff are very flexible). Antique wooden building but did not mind the other guests’ noise. The room — on 2F at the end of corridor is quiet though occasionally traffic sound came in from the nearest roads as window opened — is cozy, clean and well furnished with antique furnitures (also liked the number of chairs). Comfortable bed mattress and different sizes of pillows. Good size of twin room. Separate toilet and bath room for relaxing bath time (TV monitor in the bathroom). Everything I need is in the room👍🏻👍🏻 Their room service from the restaurant is very convenient (same prices as those in restaurant✨).

This inn features antique furniture and a quiet, gentle atmosphere. The staff were friendly and polite, and it was a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again. There is parking, and they can pick you up from Karuizawa Station. This was our first stay in Karuizawa, with two people. The antique furniture and bright walls create a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was on the second floor, accessed by stairs. There was plenty of antique furniture in the room as well. The lighting was a little dim, but it suited our relaxing summer getaway perfectly. There is a wine and sake bar on the first floor, where you can enjoy a drink and play board games. There was no music, and it was quiet, so it was very relaxing. They also offer bicycle rentals (not electric), so we were happy to be able to go to the nearby supermarket and Taliesin without a car.
