Lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach and also has lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The location is also nice and quiet with it only being about a 10 minute walk to the main strip. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and had great air conditioning. The pool and bar area was lovely and we never had a problem getting sun-beds at any time of the day. A special shoutout to David at the bar, who was very friendly and also to Abdul at reception for all his help. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
This is a great hotel, it is clean and in a fantastic location, good food and drinks on the all inclusive(the vodka slushies are lovely! ) and I could always find something to eat that I liked. The pool looks small but it is fine and didn’t feel too crowded, and the snack bar offered a good selection, there are various activities in the pool such as volleyball and evening entertainment. I would recommend this hotel and will probably be back at some point as we have really enjoyed our stay here.
Recently had a 5 night AI stay at the Best San Diego. It's location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from the bustling centre of Salou. Couldn't fault the place for cleanliness, staff were friendly, overall a very pleasant stay. The aircon in the room was ice cold which was refreshing, also use of the safe in the rooms is also free. If you stay all inclusive you serve your own soft drinks and beer, so no waiting. The only small issues I found, was my room wasn't touched for 2 days despite the old towels being left on the floor, nor was the bed made or floor swept. I brought it to the attention of the reception and was given 2 new towels, sometime late afternoon / early evening someone had gone in and made the room up and left extra towels, these things happen. The other small annoyance was although you could just about find a lounger at any point in the day, there was a huge amount of unused tables and chairs around the pool, I'd say about 80% were unoccupied most of the time. There's plenty of usable lounger space if they reduce the number of tables and chairs in place for loungers. Another issue people around the pool were talking about was the size of the loungers, if you were any taller than 5' 6" your legs hang off the end by a fair amount. A 6' guy like me, my legs were hanging off a good 18" which meant after a short time it felt uncomfortable. The pool area would hugely benefit from having music playing in the day. Would I stay here again, I absolutely would. If the San Diego is anything to go by I would imagine the sister hotels around the resort would be the same.
