Hotel Best San Francisco

Perfect location. Rooms lovely but very small and hardly any room to walk passed the bed. Pool was quite small. Life guard had a meltdown when our boys were playing with a ball and inflatables in the pool

We visited here before, 2 years ago and it was AMAZING, we’ve come back to visit again… what a terrible stay! Location is fine, but the rooms have no soundproofing! Night 1, we were on the street side next to a bar & I could practically hear people putting their drinks down let alone the karaoke they had on and the walls are paper thin, we heard an hour long argument between a scouse couple next door and whist it was entertaining, waking up at 1am to here it wasn’t ideal! We swapped rooms, and the lady at reception was lovely and really understanding- the only reason this isn’t 0 stars, along with the cleaners who were lovely. The beds are rock hard, which I know some people like, just wasn’t for me at all! The bar staff were sooooo rude (and need to learn how to make cocktails!) There aren’t enough sunbeds for the people in rooms and the pool itself is very small. However, definitely the worst part was the food🤢honestly how they serve some of it, I don’t know, and we only had breakfast! It was honestly absolutely awful and most of it was blatantly leftovers from the night before. Which would be okay, except it was stone cold! Overall, a very poor stay at somewhere we will not be returning.

The hotel was clean and spacious not many amenities, and the room was clean also. It was a little small considering I had a 5yr and a teen in one room. I had made a prior request to the hotel if they could accommodate me for a special occasion, however emails were ignored. No worries we was here to enjoy. The food honestly for a POC it was poor, most of the food is cold and by the time you take it from the hot plate it might be still raw or cold, rice was like bullets, however the wait staff were polite when told about this although some dinners we wasn't offered any water. The pool looked clean, no inflatables allowed but gave a unfriendly vibe for me and my kids even at the bar.... so we head to the beach 5mins from hotel. THE WIFI!!! THE ABSOLUTE WORST !!!!!- No service whole holiday!!!!! The location is very central and perfect if you know where you're going. local bus stop right outside hotel. The last day was a little frustrating due to language barrier and no sense of urgency when our shuttle to the airport arrived late (not hotel fault however its about customer service) if you're a POC this hotel is okay for what you pay you will be stared down or called names... if you want a crash pad this could be it.. however i did meet 2 lovely families one from Ireland and Ukraine. We had a good time regardless. 3 star hotel not 4 ( side note we could see the Los Angeles hotel across from our balcony and that one seemed better entertainment wise and pool wise)
