Overall this hotel has been great for us. It's in an ideal location right next to the beach with the restaurant facing the beach. It's within walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean and to a good standard, ours had a balcony which was nice to sit out on. Main downsides to the room is that they don't turn the air con onto cold until June so it was very warm at night even with the balcony door open and also it would be nice to have a kettle in the room, but you can buy hot drinks from the bar for approx. €3. The staff are excellent and very helpful and kind. The food was even better than we expected, everything you could want for breakfast and dinner (can't comment on the lunch) both in a buffet style and very delicious, the evening buffet is currently $15 which is a good price. They have plant based milk as well which was great as I have a dairy intolerance. The pool area was great, great location as you get the sun all day and would be even better in the height of summer. Overall a great stay and would recommend and stay again!
Stayed here for 4 days in June. Starting off with the positives, the location was good, right on the beach and breakfast was decent. The hotel definitely needs some work. The rooms are run down and need some updates, when we first walked into the room, there was hair in the shower and the toilet was dirty. There was no coffee machine in the room and the coffee machine at the breakfast buffet was constantly breaking. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Not sure how they got 4 stars.
Ocean Front Hotel with NO views!! This place was a disappointing. We initially booked the penthouse rooms with two beds assuming they would be big enough to accommodate our child and an adult in one, but the beds were so small we were forced to upgrade to a '3 person room'. That room was barley fit a queen and a single bed, despite the significant cost. (See picts). On top of that, it had mold and the toilette wasn't cleaned. But the worst is there were literally no views of the ocean (for an ocean front hotel??!!). The trees literally blocked the entire beach/ocean. Yet there is no mention of this huge deficiency on the website... When I mentioned this to the front desk lady, the literally said "Customers book for the quality of the rooms, not the view". Seriously, for a beach front hotel..?? Victor, the manager, was actually a really good guy and did his best to help us. On the last night, we were moved to a room with partial views. But for the price we paid, the experience was a big disappointment.
