This was our first time at HHB. We had a queen bed room. It seemed a bit small however there are larger rooms for a higher price tag. We went to celebrate a birthday and we had a good time. We went to the tap room for dinner. I thought it would be like an enclosed restaurant but it was open with guest checking in seeing you eating as they come in I wished there was more privacy. There is another more fancy room you can book if you do want more privacy it is within the hotel. Our entree was steak with potatoes it was enjoyable, the appetizer not so much. I managed it and my husband was able to get his changed and our waiter was very kind and okay with changing to a salad. They brought happy birthday candle for my husband with his dessert which was very nice. We went during restaurant week so appetizer, entree and dessert was $55 per person which was a very good deal compared to their regular menu. Parking was free because we went on a Sunday however Bethlehem parking can be difficult during the weekdays. It was interesting to see the people that have stayed at this historic location. Overall it was a good experience.

This hotel is conveniently situated on Main Street, just steps away from charming shops and a variety of restaurants. The rooms are clean, and the staff—from the front desk to bell service and restaurant team—are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The property has a stylish blend of modern touches and antique charm that reflects the historic character of Bethlehem. However, there is room for improvement in terms of sanitation. The entrance area just before the lobby had a lingering odor of cigarette smoke and musty carpet, which was off-putting when entering or exiting the building. Additionally, there were a few drain flies in the bathroom, indicating a need for better attention to the plumbing and cleanliness in hotel rooms. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was very positive. I especially appreciated the complimentary chauffeur service to and from Wind Creek Casino in a sleek SUV—an unexpected and luxurious touch. Special thanks to Trevor from bell service, who was both kind and informative throughout my stay!

The hotel itself was amazing. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The only issue we had was at the bar. The bartenders at the secondary bar were great and quite competent. However, the bartenders at the main bar were not very good and seemed more interested in talking to their friends than actually serving the patrons at the bar. We were surprised that the bartenders at the main bar did not want to make any drinks outside of their main menu, but we think they would be fine after attending a simple bartending school. It’s all about learning and growing. We hope to deal with a more competent staff when we come to town next year.
