Hotel has exceeded any expectations. It's probably old, but very well maintained, clean, comfortable, no strange smells. There was even a Turkish sauna feature in the shower, which functioned well and was very much appreciated in the rainy April days. Getting to the historical center of Venice took just 20 minutes and was seamless. As a bonus, we could go for seaside runs and had a couple of nice restaurants nearby.
Lovely hotel. Rooms a bit dated but worked for us and reasonably priced
Great location, but calling it a 4 star hotel is borderline insulting to other hotels. It’s more of a 2 star with a quaint front and old fashioned wallpapers. The absolute worst was the temperature of the room. There was no air conditioning or ventilation st sll. On end of April when outside the temperature was 20deg the room was at least 5deg higher, with no cooling whatsoever. The water pressure was so bad that if it had been any lower it would have been flowing into the shower indtead if out of. Overall it was all very outdated. It’s hard to judge compared to other hotels in Venice, but it definitely does not live up to international 4 star hotel standards
