Hotel Birke Ringhotel Kiel

The hotel has a charming atmosphere with great attention to detail. The room was comfortable (especially the pillow) and very tidy. The wellness area is a wonderful place to relax. But the best part is definitely the breakfast — it exceeds all expectations. The selection is extensive, combining local and international cuisine. A waiter greets you at the entrance, guides you to a free table, and offers to bring you a coffee of your choice. You can also order from a variety of egg dishes, freshly prepared to your liking.

We visited the spa as Tagesgäste yesterday and were really impressed with how much there was to do in a relatively small space. We spent 5 hours there and could easily have spent longer but we needed something to eat! There is a little bistro there, but the prices were for us a little too high, although I've heard the food quality is great. We enjoyed the pool with 3 massage 'stations', the foot spa, 4 saunas I think and a steamroom. The areas to relax in are also great and tea and water is free. We were lucky that the weather was good and we could sit in the garden area as well. Definitely worth the 38€ entry fee! Next time I would maybe try one of the treatments that you can apply yourself while using the saunas (Meersalzpeeling etc.). Definitely will be coming back!

A magnificent hotel with very attentive and polite staff. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, though unfortunately we didn’t use the SPA area.
